To: All Lapoguenians:

In behalf of the members and officers of The Lapoguenians of Southern California, I would like to announce that the association is planning to have the annual dinner dance party dubbed as “Barangay Fiesta- Lapog Style” at the same venue, Vivo Dance Sport Center on August 11, Saturday from 6:30 P.M. until midnight. We are calling all Lapoguenians from anywhere around the world to attend this get-together. In our previous parties, Lapoguenians from the Philippines, Northern California, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and some other parts of the U.S. came to enjoy with us the night of fun, dances, and entertainment.

I for one, am looking forward to a night like this. This is the opportune time for me to meet friends and acquaintances from Lapog whom I have not met for a long time. It is also an opportunity to meet Lapoguenians whom I heard only by names but never met them in person. I can never describe how I feel in a night like this, seeing a lot of Lapoguenios in a place other than Lapog. These kind of moments are rare and qualified to be Kodak moments.

When I was a kid, I was satisfied at looking pictures of parties brought by my aunts vacationing from the U.S. I could perceive how happy they were enjoying the festivities. Now, those pictures are still etched on my mind but instead of just watching, I’m already part of those pictures. So I’m genially invite all Lapoguenians to attend this affair and be a part of the celebration. I guarantee, you will surely enjoy the party.
